Redondo girl’s varsity basketball player takes a free shot after being fouled by Costa girl’s varsity player Kelli Toyooka. When players are fouled in basketball, they get two free chances to shoot the ball and score extra points for their team.

Senior Kira Escovar falls to the ground with a Redondo girl’s varsity player while trying to defend the ball. Escovar was trying to ensure that the ball wasn’t stolen from her and that the other team wouldn’t steal the ball.
Girl’s varsity player Kelli Toyooka attempts to get through the players of the opposite team and prepares to shoot the ball at the basket to score a point for Costa. Toyooka shot the ball and added additional points for the team.
