Editors Pick
“Stairway To Heaven” by Led Zeppelin
This eight minute classic by one of the most influential rock bands of all time, is widely considered the best song to come out of the 1970’s. The song is the epitome of a slow burn, taking its time to get to the climax, and eventually exploding into a clash of guitars, drums, bass, and high pitched lyrics. Stairway to Heaven is a commitment to listen to, but absolutely worth every second.

“Lost and Found” by YBN Cordae
Trap drums ground the short, but sweet song “Lost and Found” by the Grammy nominated artist, YBN Cordae. Cordae flexes his lyrical muscles throughout the song, constantly switching up the speeds of his flow. “Lost and Found” is definitely a song to listen to get you up and ready for the day.

“Forever Young” by Alphaville
The high pitched epic, “Forever Young” is a song about the eternal life of a child, and takes a side against the Cold War. Impressive drums, and vocals pace the song of the German Rock group’s first song on their debut album. Overall, “Forever Young” is a well paced song that anyone will enjoy.

“Hold Me While You Wait” by Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi’s emotional epic, “Hold Me While You Wait” tells the tale of being in an uncertain and shaky relationship. The song is described by Capaldi to describe his, “impending hopelessness” that he had in a past relationship. Capaldi is extremely impressive in this song, with raspy vocals and heartfelt lyrics.

“Walk Man” by Tiny Meat Gang
We end our Weekly Playlist with the comedic rap song by the Tiny Meat Gang, or the famous youtubers and comedians Cody Ko and Noel Miller. Off of the gang’s most famous album, “Locals Only” Cody and Noel use their hilarious lyrics, and interesting beat to create a fun and upbeat sound, that is a sneaky good listen.
