
Mona Cho, a sophomore at Costa, received recognition at the White House on October 16th as part of the “International Day of the Girl” celebration. At the annual “Girls Leading Change Event,” fifteen exceptional young women were honored for their remarkable contributions to their communities. Mona was commended for her efforts in combatting online harassment, bullying, and abuse.
She is an active member of the Beach Cities Health District Youth Advisory Council and also plays a significant role in the Manhattan Beach District’s Youth Health and Safety Committee, where she leads a team of five peers in an anti-online harassment campaign.
