Harry Styles’ “Love on Tour” brought blasting energy to 42 different concerts, spreading love all over the country in bright, exciting performances after the restrictions of COVID-19. To present his most recent debut solo album, “Fine Line,” Styles visited the Forum in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, 19, and 20 with three sold-out shows.
Styles transformed the atmosphere of the attendees into a magical experience through the use of emotion in incredible music, allowing for a safe, welcoming environment. Styles seemingly charmed the crowd with his style and charisma. The band put on an outstanding performance that kept the audience entertained for a full 90 minutes.
Along with being an amazing musician, Styles’ engages with the audience and even had conversations with several fans. It is very clear that he put on his absolute best performance at each and every show.
The opener for “Love on Tour” was American singer and songwriter Jenny Lewis, who composes Indie music. From the very beginning, Lewis set the incredible feeling for the night by her creative sounds.
Styles fascinated the audience with his choreography and fashion. His flawless attire added to the ambiance. He not only sang an average of 18 songs each night, but he put his maximum in every piece of artistry that he displays to his fans.
The Forum contains many separate seating sections, includes the pit, which is the standing area closest to the stage. The Forum is a rounded shape, so Styles moved around gracefully on the stage in the middle constantly. In terms of COVID-19 restriction, the Styles concert was safe for his audience since it was mandatory for a mask to be worn.
Even though 17,000 energetic bodies in the Forum may be unsettling, fans trust Styles as he genuinely makes connections with the crowd. In the Friday night show, Styles helped a fan who was holding up a sign in the pit come out of the audience. On the Saturday night show, when a fan in the pit looked unwell and overwhelmed, Styles stopped the song “Canyon Moon” to make sure that she was alright. He wanted everyone to have a great time, and these small efforts are what made his show.
Styles’ stage presence is something that is very overlooked at Styles’ concerts. Styles has worked with the members of his band for several years and has grown very close to them. The band members inlude Niji Adeleye on piano; Pauli Lovejoy on percussions; Mitch Rowland on guitar; Sarah Jones on the drums; Ny Oh on piano and vocals; Adam Prendergast on bass guitar; and Charlotte Clark as a pianist, guitarist, and on vocals. They all showed their talent by expressing dynamic and rhythmic passion throughout the performance. Several of them even have instrumental solos throughout the show, as well as each individual being introduced and thanked. Styles showed deep gratitude toward the musicians, which touched his entire audience.
As the arena was lit up by cell phone flashlights and cheering voices, Styles made his visit to L.A. one to remember. In total, over 50,000 fans showed up to support his musicality and his talent. Styles flawlessly executed his performance as he left the audience touched and emotional through his empathy shown by his performance.
