On Sunday, October 29, Manhattan Beach hosted its 33rd annual Pumpkin Race in Downtown Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Beach Boulevard was filled with colorful and unique pumpkins as families and community alike raced their pumpkins down the hill from 2-6 PM.
The Downtown Halloween Festival was in full swing starting at 12 PM where businesses participated in Halloween themed activities, costume contests, and created special treats.
“It was the most unusual, fun, unique Halloween event I’ve ever been to,” said freshman Julia Moffit. “It was a packed day at the pier with the Pier to Pier walk, Halloween Carnival, and Pumpkin Race, so there was really something for everyone”
