Daniel Banuelos has been working as a custodian at Costa since February 2024. Before coming to Costa, Banuelos worked as a custodian at Redondo Union High. He currently works two full-time jobs, one as a Physical Education teacher at Notre Dame Academy, and the other as a custodian here at Costa. He cleans the 40s and 50s classrooms, as well as the East and West locker halls.
Banuelos is passionate about teaching and enjoys instructing physical education to fourth through eighth graders at Notre Dame Academy. He loves watching students grow over the years and helping them with odd requests around campus. One of his favorite memories was looking for a student’s Invisalign that was dropped in the trash can.
“It’s not on our schedule, but we’re glad to help and just bring a smile to that student’s face,” said Banuelos.
