OCEANFRONT VIEW: The park, “Bruce’s Beach,” overlooks the Manhattan Beach coast on Highland Avenue. The park was created after the Willa and Charles Bruce’s resort was destroyed by the city, but now stands as a memorial to the racial injustice that occurred on its land centuries ago.
