On September 6, Mira Costa High School’s Cross Country Team beat the heat in their second meet of the season called the Cool Breeze Invitational at the Brookside Country Club, in Pasadena. Mira Costa Girls Golf improved immensely in their rematch against Diamond Bar High School on Thursday, Sept. 26. Coach Tom Cox purposely placed them against really good teams for their non-league matches to prepare them for when the league starts. Boys Varsity came in 1st as a team, and were led by senior Thomas Velvin who came in 3rd overall.
