The Mira Costa Varsity Girls Golf team shot 403 at Los Cerrados on Monday Oct. 22. They placed second behind Palos Verdes High School with 393 shots and will continue on to regionals. The Mustangs are 9-0 as Bay League champions.
Freshmen Andrea Lee and Marni Murez shot one under par with 73 and 83 respectively. Junior Megan Kim shot one above par with 75. Seniors Kari Gordon and Raquel Gordon shot 86 and 87 respectively.
“Now is not the time to reflect,” coach Tim Kelley said. “We have to make sure our last game is our best.”
The Mustangs competed on Monday Oct. 29 at the Legends Golf Course and qualified for CIF. They will compete Thursday Nov. 1 for the CIF individual at River Ridge Golf Course.
