The Mira Costa girls basketball team won 63-57 on Monday Dec.10, in a non-league game against South Torrance High School. The Mustangs record currently stands at 6-4.
Sophomore Haley Tojo scored fourteen points and had one rebound. Senior Rachel Humphrey scored eleven points and made nine rebounds in the win.
“I’m really proud of our team’s win,” Humphrey said. “To come back off the last game with another win really shows how ready we are for the season.”
The Mustangs’ next game will be in the Santa Barbara Tournament on Dec. 19 against Bell Jefferson High School.
