The Mira Costa Wrestling team competed at in Tustin High’s Tournament of Champions the weekend of December 29th-30th.
Though the team didn’t have any top eight finishers, they managed to claim 32nd place out of the 66 teams competing. The team was able to stay in the middle of the pack due to the high number of Mustangs winning matches. Junior Jake Shapiro was the only Mustang to finish in the top 12.
The team will next be put to the test Thursday January 10th at the West Torrance High Dual Meet.
