The girls tennis team defeated Redondo Union High School, 12-6, in its last match of the season on Monday.
Singles player freshmen Amy Gaal won two out of her three matches, 6-0 and 6-1. Singles player junior Taylor Klein also won two out of her three matches, 6-3 and 6-1.
In doubles, senior Paula Cenusa with junior Mai Nojima won both of their matches, 6-4 and 6-0. Freshmen Isabella Draskovic and Katarina Draskovic won all three of their matches, 6-3, 6-1 and 6-0.
“It is always nice to defeat Redondo,” coach Joe Ciasulli said. “The win ends a great regular season and now we’ll focus on the postseason.”
The girls will begin the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs on Wednesday. The location has yet to be determined.
