On Sept 27, 12 of Costa’s boys cross country runners attended the Stanford Cross Country Invitational competing against schools around the state and country with Varsity placing 11th overall out of 38 teams.
Costa competed in the top race of the day with Varsity as well as another race with the top JV runners. Freshman Xavier Court placed 56th overall of the first race with a time of 16:09, coming in first of all Costa runners. Senior Chance Weston followed him with 16:16 placing 70th. Junior Ethan Williams came after Weston with a 16:17 placing 72nd. Williams was followed by Senior Brandon Shirazi with 16:18, sophomore Caleb LLorin with 16:21, and Bram Osterhout with 16:23. In this race there were a total of 179 runners.
The next meet is the South Bay Cup on Oct 1. Teams from all around the South Bay will be competing.
