Girls Tennis defeated Bay League rival Redondo Union High School on Monday, Oct 27 at Mira Costa High School. This will maintain Costa’s number two Bay League rank, behind Peninsula High School, and will improve their record to 15-4.
Sophomore Amy Gaal led the mustangs in the singles division, winning all three of her matches. Katarina and Isabella Draskovic contributed in the doubles division winning two of their three matches against the Seahawks.
“Redondo match went better than expected. They were missing their best player but our team ended up playing really well and we won a lot of important matches,” Gaal said.
