The girls and boys swim team competed in the South Bay Invitationals on March 25 and March 26 at home for a chance to advance to the finals on March 27.
Overall, Costa did not perform as well as they had hoped. Junior Ian Campbell was one of the bright performers when he placed second in the 200 yard freestyle and qualified for the finals with a time of 1:48.67.
“Costa is not as strong this year as we usually are, but we still are competing with other top swim schools,” Campbell said. “We will be ready to compete once league starts.”
The team will meet South Torrance on March 31.
