Three Days Grace’s brings a near perfect release with “Human” that brings outstanding vocals together with strong guitars and complemented by a skilled drummer to create a great sound and a smooth rhythm. The band has worked together throughout the years to create a strong bond that is only strengthened by the addition of a new singer.
Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band that formed in 1992 and have been a popular group ever since. They have had the same group of people in the band until this year with the leaving of lead singer Adam Gontier leaving the band. They recruited singer Matt Walst to take over.
The band has created great songs and will continue doing so with the help of their lead guitarist Barry Stock, who continues to bring the same power and energy to this album as he has done in works past. He shows his talent in songs such as “Tell Me Why,” as he changes the style from a calm controlled beat to a faster rhythm that matches along perfectly with the pace of the song.
With this album the band has had to replace their lead singer Gontier who left the band on a short notice due to some personal issues that he wanted to deal with by himself. He was quickly replaced by Walst who quickly adapted to “Three Days Grace” style of music. With his addition the album brings a fresh new voice without straying too far from what brought them to fame.
Playing the drums and helping out with the back up vocals Neil Sanders keeps the flow of the songs on track in this album without drawing attention away from the main acts. In the song “I Am Machine” Sanders Keeps with the tempo of the guitar bringing a loud strong backup to keep the song interesting.
With this album many of the songs focus on more of the downsides of life while still bringing an interesting happy rhyme to it with songs like “So What” singing about the artists desperation and him appearing to go insane while still having an fast tempo to it. Also in the Song “I Am Machine” he sings about the routines of life while having a fun to listen to bat without taking away from the important overtone.
While this album has many fun songs it has also has some songs with a more serious undertone to them. The song “Car Crash” sings about how he can not look away from the Car crash that is assumed to be his ex-girlfriend. Also in the song “Nothing’s Fair In Love And War” he sings about how he believes that it is important to fight for what you believe in.
The perfect mix of the instrumentals while still bringing interesting and meaningful lyrics makes “Human” by Three Days Grace one of their best albums yet. The album brings the band together introduces the newest member in an easy way making this album a classic in the making.
The album is sold in stores and online for $10.00 and does not carry any explicit rating to it.
