The Mustangs faced off against Simi Valley on Saturday away and were able to win the game by a score of 7-2.
The Mustangs played hard and second baseman junior Zack Chan scored two runs for the Mustangs. The boys started off strong and Simi Valley was not able to catch up. Pitching for the Mustangs was junior Trevor Franklin who threw 38 pitches out of 63 pitches.
“We played well,” Franklin said. “We can always improve, but overall we played a great game.”
The Mustangs will play Morningside High School on Wednesday at an away game. If they are able to win the game, their overall record will improve to 19-7.
