In the new documentary “Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine” directors Alex Gibney and Viva Van Loock keeps the interest of viewers by having real pictures and videos from Steve Job’s life and intriguing interviews from Job’s friends.
The pictures from Jobs life were used in the film, and made it much more interesting than the typical dramatization which includes actors and a script. Many of Steve Jobs’s friends and family spoke throughout the documentary about their personal relationships and experience with Jobs which created a more thought provoking experience (?)
Another reason that the documentary was amusing was because the family members and friends of Steve Jobs that were interviewed for the film. Each interviewed guest had their own perspective on Apple and Jobs and were every entertaining to watch because of their stories that were shared. (?)
One of the many reasons “Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine” was enjoyable was because of the countless facts that the documentary provided. Real factual footage from Steve Jobs’ life pulls the viewer to watch the movie more and drive to learn more about Jobs and Apple. (47)
Many of the interviewed workers at Apple agreed that they didn’t work because the work had to be done, they worked because they have a passion for what was being worked on.
The documentary provided too much pointless information about small topics that did not have much importance to the movie. The film took a long time on one subject was when Jobs met the mother of his first born child and his refusal of accepting paternity.
The time spent on that could have been spent more on what he did after he was fired from Apple. In the film not many facts were included about what occurred after he was unoccupied which left viewers curious to what had happened in between jobs.
“Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine” was a great film that gave a bountiful number of facts and showed real footage which left viewers to rethink about their perspective of the company Apple.“Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine.” Bold. Brilliant. Brutal.
The Steve Jobs documentary film was well worth the money and it is now playing on demand and in select theaters.(30)
