Mira Costa High School practiced the bomb threat evacuation plan on Wednesday during first and second periods
After four bomb threats and an evacuation in response to the first threat, received on Jan. 7, administrators made the decision to conduct a drill for a future threat. Leading the drill was Costa Vice Principal Jon Shaw. According to Chair of the Safety Committee Ian Uhalt, another Safety drill will be conducted in April.
“All students and staff conducted themselves properly during the drill,” Shaw said. “I would definitely consider the drill a success on everyone’s behalf.”
