“Today we started to work as a team to succeed in relays and individual events,” Nerad said. “It was a great meet for a ton of our swimmers and the season looks promising.”
Costa is currently 2-0 overall. Costa’s next meet is the South Bay Invitational at home. The boys preliminaries are on Tuesday at 2 p.m, the girls preliminaries are on Wednesday at 2 p.m, and the finals are on Friday at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. According to Barnhill, although the last meet lacked team spirit, this meet certainly improved with tons of team spirit.
