The Mira Costa Tech and Drama Department’s spring musical, “The Addams Family,” opened on April 22 in the auditorium, and its last three shows will be tonight at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The musical follows the story of the abnormal Addams family, consisting of two parents, Gomez Addams (senior Duncan Bardeau) and Morticia Addams (senior Miranda Baldo), their son Pugsley Addams (senior Rachel Kay) and their daughter Wednesday Addams (senior Calyssa Frankel).
“We chose ‘The Addams Family’ because it was a great way to encourage lots of people to get involved,” Drama President Dana Beech said.
Tickets for the shows will be available for purchase at the door for $12 for students and senior citizens and $18 for adults.
“Costa has a very good reputation for putting on amazing musicals, and I think that ‘The Addams Family’ [was] one that really wowed people,” Beech said.
