Mira Costa’s Comedy Sportz team won their match against Palos Verdes 33-26 last night in the small theater.
During the match, teams performed multiple improv games, such as Countdown, in which members perform a scene for two minutes, then in one minute, then in 30 seconds, then in 15 seconds and finally in 10 seconds. In addition, teams performed the game Interrogation, where two members of the team did not know what crime they committed but had to guess where they were, what they were doing and who they were with.

“I think that we had a great match,” Team captain and senior Emma Nerad said. “We worked well off each other in all of our games. It was also awesome to go up against PV who is one of our biggest rivals. They always play great and feeding off their energy really helped us.”
Audience members clapped and cheered for the team they thought derserved the points after both teams performed a game.
