On Friday, April 28, 2017, the market sold Jamaican hand woven bins, bags, purses, and blankets to customers. The Hermosa Beach Farmer’s Market sells a lot of fresh produce that comes from all of California. A local entrepreneur sold fresh and ripe strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and avocados at the market. The market also provides fun activities for the customers including live music. This was a local band that performed folk and country music for the customers that attended the Hermosa Beach Farmer’s Market. The market-goers take some shade at the heart of the market, which is the parking lot of Clark Field. The sunny day caused a lot of people to come out and shop for fruits, vegetables, and healthy snacks. A local customer buys fresh flowers from an entrepreneur. The Hermosa Beach Farmers Market also sold flowers and decorations from California Sunrise Farms. Mira Costa High School student, Ella Nuttall-Smith (freshman), waits in line at a Mexican food booth for their famous lemonade. The Hermosa beach Farmer’s market has provided various amounts of food booths for the customers. The Frontier Kettle food booth sells freshly made popcorn. This booth has been a native to the Hermosa Beach Farmer’s market and is a large attraction because its popcorn is made right before your eyes. This businesswoman sells handmade pins, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Many booths located beside the Clark Field basketball courts sold handmade goods to the market-goers. The Hermosa Beach Farmer’s Market is famous for selling California grown oranges. The vendors laid out free taste test of many different types of oranges so the buyers could decide before they made their purchase. The vendor from Crepes De France sell freshly made crepes. This sweet snack has engaged most of the younger children that have attended the market after school on Fridays.
