Costa Boys Tennis Sweeps Chadwick High School 18-0

The Mira Costa boys tennis team defeated Chadwick High School 18-0 at home on Mar. 14.  The top performers of the match included senior doubles partners Ben Choromanski and Shant Samuelian for their 6-0 victories in every set.

The Mustangs had a strong performance across the board winning all of their singles and doubles matches.  Sophomore Tim Dzhurinskiy won his matches 6-1, 6-0, and 6-0 as well as Junior Matthew Poh winning his matches 6-2, 6-0, and 6-0.  

“My favorite part thing about being on the tennis team is being able to be a part of a family which builds each other up and supports each other through thick and thin,” Samuelian said.

The Mustangs are currently 5-0 overall and will take on Inglewood high school on Mar. 14 at home.

“I also enjoy beating other teams and showing other teams how great Mira Costa is at tennis,” Samuelian said.
