Students from Mira Costa’s Model United Nations travelled to Paris, France from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2 to compete against other schools in the Paris MUN Conference.
Costa’s MUN delegates consisted of a total of 16 sophomores, juniors and seniors. Seniors Kayan Mishra and Holden Brown gavelled, along with junior Andrew Cormack and sophomore Hunter Kolodziej.
“This conference was special because we had the opportunity to debate people our age from different countries about diverse and complex issues that will define our future,” Cormack said. “It was incredible to hear unique opinions everyone had based off their diverse backgrounds.”
