The Museum of Selfies invites those in Los Angeles to walk through an interactive exhibit and take trend-worthy pictures to show off the LA lifestyle.

This museum offers several entertaining rooms that make taking photos of oneself more dynamic and amusing as well as exhibiting important moments from our history’s improvements in media. Additionally, the museum is well accommodated with helpful employees and diverse installations for a variety of people.

The Museum of Selfies opened up permanently on Hollywood Boulevard on Oct 12, 2018, and includes many installations to take amazing photos. The museum was created by Tommy Honton and Tair Mamedov, the founders of the escape rooms. The museum displays immersive rooms showing works of Van Gogh as well as other artists.

The exhibits set themselves apart from other museums because they allow visitors to be creative, since they are designed to be highly interactive. For example, the selfie awards room allows guests to put on costumes and walk the red carpet as if they were there themselves, which makes the atmosphere light-hearted and the experience enjoyable.

The Museum of Selfies is accomodating for many different age groups. With the emoji ball pit and props, it makes the museum entertaining for kids while adults and teenagers can utilize the unique wall art and setups for impressive photos and learn some interesting history.

Although the museum is full of capture-worthy set-ups, it additionally holds noteworthy information on several artists, including Michelangelo, and other works in a visually pleasing way. Each room’s information on display is worded in an amusing way so that it is interesting to read. While also using bold text and vibrant colors to present the information, it makes the museum more enjoyable for visitors.

Several workers walk around the rooms and are very helpful with explaining more about the displays. They also have cameras with them so they can help you take photos with your group. Another helpful aspect of the museum is a step-by-step tutorial video on how to take photos similar to the examples in the optical illusion bedroom. This makes it simple for visitors to capture quick and easy photos.

The rooms in The Museum of Selfies vary in tone and overall appearance. This makes the museum and photo installations diverse for different types of people. Each room has a different aesthetic to match all sorts of feeds, which helps to make the museum even more remarkable.

At the end of the museum is a small gift shop, where visitors can purchase several different souveniers. This makes it a great place for tourists visiting Hollywood to remember the unique experience, as well as having amazing photos to take home.

The Museum of Selfies provides an enjoyable and tasteful experience for visitors. With the well-blended media culture and unique, photo-worthy installations the museum is a must-see.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for kids, and more information on the museum can be found on museumofselfies.com.
