The Mustangs fought hard against Orange Lutheran on Tuesday, September 14th, but fell short with a final score of 16-7. The Mustangs tried to keep up in the first two quarters but the team ultimately came up short, losing by 9.
“We weren’t doing a good job of predicting the counter attack, and that resulted in a lot of goals scored against us,” senior Victor Katz said.
Costa had a tough match and struggled to keep up. They will continue to work hard during practice in order to prepare for the next game on the 18th against Redlands, according to senior Cole Christiensen.
“Our team plans to have better communication in the pool which will ultimately help our future wins,” Christiensen said.
