Auditions for the spring musical were held in room one from Jan. 9-11 where students auditioned for their preferred role in “Mamma Mia.”
Auditions for “Mamma Mia” spanned across three days with a dance call and a vocal call, followed by callbacks. The play was an open-call for all Costa students. According to Cooper, each student had to prepare a section of the song that the Drama Department provided for students to practice with.
“I was so happy when I found out that we were doing ‘Mamma Mia,’” said junior Natalie Cooper. “I’m obsessed with the music, and it’s a really fun story.”
