On Jan. 10, the Mira Costa girls soccer team played its first Bay League game away against West Torrance High School. The girls kept up their winning streak and won, upping their record to 14-1 overall and 1-0 in Bay League.
The game went into double overtime and Costa ended up winning with a score of 2-0. The goals were scored by sophomores Mandy Mckeegan and Kimby Keever.
The girls’ next game will take place on Friday, Jan. 13 against Redondo Union High School.
