Q&A with Elena Olsen
Q: What middle school did you attend?
A: Manhattan Beach Middle School
Q: What are you most excited about for high school?
A: I’m excited to meet new people from different schools.
Q: Is there anything you’re nervous about?
A: I’m afraid of the workload and the tests because I have heard that it is much harder than middle school.
Q: What extracurricular are you part of or want to become part of and why?
A: Currently, I am on the girls tennis team and I am in concert choir. I’m interesting in joining a school club that works to help the community, especially because I am already part of National Charity League.
Q: What are your passions?
A: I love playing the piano and singing. I’ve been playing piano for six years and have been singing for four years. I also just started playing the guitar.
Q: What is your favorite kind of music to play?
A: I like to play Adele and The Beatles because they are songs that I can sing along to while playing.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish in your four years at Costa?
A: I’m hoping to do well academically so I can attend Johns Hopkins University and eventually go to medical school.
