Associated Student Body announced the seniors’ decision to elect Jack Allen and Sarah Kennedy as Homecoming King and Queen during halftime at Friday’s Homecoming football game versus Palos Verdes High School.
Marching band nominated senior Sarah Kennedy, and seniors elected her based on her accomplishments as the President of National Honors’ Society, the President of TriM Honors Music Society, a member of Model United Nations, the President of National Charity League, the President of Costa Quidditch Club and the President of Marching Band. La Vista nominated Jack Allen for his role as editor in Chief as well as his accomplishments regarding Comedy Sportz, water polo and his philanthropic outreach.
“I feel so honored to represent Marching Band as Homecoming Queen,” Kennedy said.
