Sophomore, Chris Agliozzo, gets ready to pass during the third quarter of the Boy’s Varsity game against Peninsula High School. Costa beat Peninsula 13-2 in the bay league game away game.Junior, Alex Nahabed, is on defense trying to regain possession of the ball. In Water Polo, a foul will be called if the offensive player uses his hands to push away the defensive player.Varsity goalie, Jere Ashby, passes the ball down the pool after the shot clock ran out for the other teams offensive drive. Ashby only allowed two goals throughout the entire game.Nahabed looks for an open teammate to quickly get rid of the ball before Peninsula is able to get to it. Costa had a much stronger offense and defense than Peninsula did, as the score shows.Junior, Liam Cook, swims the ball toward Costa’s goal in an effort to score before the shot clock runs out. Cook scored two goals during this blowout bay league game against Peninsula High School.
