The Manhattan Beach Art Center will host the Mira Costa All Media Art Show from March 24 to April 9 in order to display the artistic talent of Costa students.
Costa students will present their paintings, films, and other forms of art at the show. All students are allowed to submit art, but the majority of the art on display is that of the advanced art students at Costa.
“It’s really awesome to be able to put your art on display for the public to see,” freshman Luke Snyder said. “It is a rewarding feeling to know that your work has paid off.”
The 17th annual All Media Art Show had its opening reception on Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. For many of the Costa students, it was the first time that they showed their work to the public.

“I am excited to have my artwork on display because it is something I am passionate about and worked hard on,” Sophomore Jamie Lee said.
The art on display is made up of fun and creative pieces, as well as some political pieces that represent the opinions of the artists.

“It’s pretty cool to be able to have art on display because other people can kind of interpret my art in their own sense,” Lee said.
The Manhattan Beach Art center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM. It is located at 1560 Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
