Many tourists visit this gold plated temple in the city of Luang Prabang, Laos everyday. The sign included many landmarks from around the world like Big Ben, The Statue of Liberty, and The Cape of Good Hope.Adjacent from the “Big Buddha,” sits the Po Lin Monastery, a large Monastery in Hong Kong that is home to many monks being an important religious sight for them. Tourists walked up the stairs to witness the holy sight and enter the Monastery.The Tian Tan Buddha or “Big Buddha,” sits atop the mountains on Lantau Island, Hong Kong where it is visited by tourists and monks everyday. Here, tourists took the trip up 268 steps to get a closer look at the universal symbol of Harmony between Man and Nature.A closer look at the Po Lin Monastery and it’s beautiful and vibrant colors atop the mountains of Lantau Island, Hong Kong on Thursday the 13th, 2017. The Monastery was built in 1993 and has not been touched since to show the authenticity of the Monastery.One final view of the Mekong River, in Laos as the sun comes down over the hills a fishing trap set up by a local fisherman catches a fish. The sun fell over the mountains revealing a warm and humid night by the Mekong River.Residents’ houses sit on the cliffs of Honk Kong and overlook the South China Sea creating a beautiful view of the lush jungle that surrounds the island. On weekends, the residents of Hong Kong swam in the water making this cove a public tourist attraction to people of all ages.
