The Mustangs set for a play early in the home game against Peninsula High School on October 5, 2017. The Mustangs took a victory against Pen with a score of 28-14.
Running back Jonah Tavai dives into the end zone scoring the second touchdown for Costa. The Mustangs started out slow in the first quarter but gathered momentum as the game went on.
Quarterback Nick Carpino makes a pass to a wide receiver while dodging defense from Peninsula. Carpino played in this game as one of two quarterbacks, the other being Reed Vabrey.
Varsity Footballl Player clutches the ball while running up the field being pummeled by Peninsula defense. The Mustangs, although being down at halftime 14-7, made many strong plays in the second half which allowed them to pull out a victory.
Varsity Cheerleading gets the crowd excited during the first quarter and cheer with the guest children for their Breast Cancer Awareness week. The cheerleaders kept the crowd energetic with cheers and dances throughout the game.
