Students gather in the front office area to march for their lives in honor of the Parkland Shooting. On Wednesday, March 14, Mira Costa High School held a day of expression for students to protest for gun control and to honor the seventeen victims who died in the shooting in Florida just a month earlier.
A group of passionate students stand in front of the crowd, ready to speak about the cause they are supporting. This group of students organized the walk out and took a moment to speak about each of the victims.
Students supporting gun control listen while each victim is honored. After each name and a short biography was read, the students said, “We will remember” in unison.

Students march on Artesia holding up their protest signs and chanting, “Enough is enough.” Students went up and down the street and continued to march until the end of office hours.
