On Jan. 24, the Mira Costa boys soccer team lost in double overtime to Palos Verdes High School, making its season record 6-6-7 and Bay League record 1-1-3.
The game was at the Mustangs’ home field, where they lost 2-3 in double over time. The Mustangs’ first goal was scored in the first half by senior Jess Chamberlain, who then scored the second goal in the second half with an assist by senior Ramsey Zein.
The boys play next on Jan. 27 away against West Torrance High School at 3 p.m.
