Coming off of two Bay League losses, the Mira Costa boys basketball team grabbed a redeeming win over Palos Verdes High School at home on Jan. 24. The Mustangs bested Palos Verdes with a score of 50-40, making Costa’s records 15-6 overall and 2-3 in Bay League.
Sophomore Justin Strings had an explosive game with 21 points and 10 rebounds while junior Cole Feaster added 13 points. Senior Max Watson also contributed eight points and 10 rebounds.
Costa will travel away on Jan. 27 to face West Torrance, the team the Mustangs came up short against in their Bay League opener on Jan. 10.
