Boys basketball secures big win over rival Redondo

On Jan. 31, the Mira Costa boys basketball team grabbed a big win at home over Mustang rival Redondo Union High School. The Mustangs came up on top with a final score of 67-57, making their records 16-7 overall and 3-4 in Bay League.

Sophomores Justin Strings and Chase Crandall led the Costa offensive with 18 points each. Strings dominated throughout the second half while Crandall had a breakout game. Junior Cole Feaster also contributed 15 points for Costa.

The Mustangs will face Leuzinger for the second time in Bay League with hopes of redemption at home on Feb. 3.
