On Saturday Mar. 3rd the Costa baseball team hosted Long Beach Wilson High School in a 4-3 victory. Long Beach led the game until the bottom of the seventh inning, when Costa came from behind to win. The rally started when Junior Gordon Cardenas was hit by a pitch, followed by singles by junior Kevin Lopez and senior Turner Conrad. Senior Anthony Lombardo was walked to load the bases. Senior Ryan Franklin was hit by a pitch to drive in the winning run. Junior Chris Alcala pitched 7 innings in the win.
The next game is tomorrow against Servite High School at Glover Stadium in Anaheim at 7 p.m.
