The Mira Costa girl’s lacrosse team hosted the rival Redondo Seahawks on Tuesday Mar. 28 and lost by a score of 13-10. The Mustangs now lose their perfect record and move to 4-1 on the young season.
Sophomore Leah Sepanek and juniors Lexi Kurugian and Susanna Sieke were crucial players on the offensive side of the ball and junior goalie Monique Rohrbach had another successful game, but it was not enough to stop Redondo senior Micayla Kotzbach’s six goals.
The girls next play on Thursday, Mar. 29 when they hit the road and visit Pacific Palisades for a nonleague game.
