The Mira Costa girls softball team bounced back and won it’s first Bay League game against Leuzinger at Leuzinger by a score of 14-2 on Mon. April 16 raising their overall record to 12-4 and 1-1 in the Bay League.
The Mustangs poured on the offense against Leuzinger as five players had at least two hits a piece. The scoring binge was capped off by the grand slam home run by sophomore Shannon Savino.
Costa continues league play on Wednesday April 18 as they take on West Torrance at West Torrance.
