The Mira Costa girls lacrosse team lost in the CIF final game to Palos Verdes on May 10, ending the girls’ season with a seasonal record of 14-7 and a Bay League record of 8-4.
The game took place at Redondo Union High School and resulted in Palos Verdes winning, 13-12. Juniors Carly McGuire and Taylor Pool contributed to the team’s strong offense, and defender junior Noelle Claycomb helped tighten the team’s defensive effort against Palos Verdes.
“Our season this year has overall been very successful, and it was a great team to be a part of,” Claycomb said.
