The Mira Costa JV football team faced off against Inglewood High School on Aug. 30 in its first game of the season, defeating the Sentinels 36-6 making the team’s record 1-0.
Sophomore Tre’ Searcy played a major part in Costa’s victory with multiple touchdowns.
“He had a really good game rushing the ball and making some key plays on defense as well,” Coach Don Morrow said.
The Mustangs’ played on Thursday Sept. 6 at Serra HIgh School.
