The Mira Costa girls tennis team hosted Marlborough High School on Thursday, September 13, winning 13 of the 18 matches and bringing their record to 5-0.
Sophomore Taylor Klein won both of her two single matches with a score of 6-2 and 6-3. Sophomore Mai Nojima also won her set 6-2. Doubles partners, senior Kayla Tarlton and junior Sidney Ascher also won their matches.
“We started off the season strong and I think our team is going to do really well this year,” Ascher said.
Their next game will be away on Wednesday, September 19 at Santa Monica High School at 3:00.
