On Thursday, Sept. 20 the Mira Costa varsity girls golf team competed at Chester Golf Course against South Torrance. They won 192 shots to 229. The Mustangs currently stand 4-0 in Bay League with one tournament win.
Freshmen Andrea Lee and Marni Murez shot 38 and 40, junior Megan Kim shot 35 and seniors Kari Gordon and Raquel Gordon shot 39 and 40.
“Megan Kim shot one under par,” coach Tim Kelley said. “Anytime someone shoots under average its a real highlight.
The Mustangs’ next match will be away on Wednesday Sept. 27 against West Torrance High School.
