The Mira Costa varsity girls tennis team faced off against Palos Verdes High School on Thursday, Sept. 20 where they continued their winning streak.
Sophomore singles players Mai Nojima and Brooke Swallow won two of their three matches.
The girls had another match on Friday, Sept. 21 when they played Brentwood High School bringing their record to 8-0.
Junior Paula Cenusa won her singles set 6-0. For doubles, junior Sidney Ascher and senior Sulibeth Ortiz won their two matches.
“I am really proud of our team for playing so well,” junior Claudia Fellows said. “I am excited to continue the season undefeated.”
The Mustangs will face West Torrance High School away on Thursday Sept. 27 at 3:00.
