The Mira Costa girls golf team defeated West Torrance High School, 185-225 away at Alondra Golf Course on Thursday, Sept. 27. The Mustangs are currently 6-0 in Bay League with one tournament win.
Freshman Andrea Lee shot 36, seniors Kerri and Raquel Gordon shot 36 and 39, respectively and juniors Megan Kim and Mika Pascual shot 37 and 38, respectively.
“Realistically this is off the hook,” said Coach Tim Kelley. “I told the girls to aim for 180 but this many athletes under par is still very impressive.”
The next match will be on Tuesday, Oct. 2 home at Chester Golf Course.
