On Thursday, Oct. 4 Mira Costa varsity girls golf team finished 5th with 181 shots in the Burbank Tournament at Debell Golf Course. The Mustangs are currently 8-0 in Bay League.
Sophomore Taylor St. Germain shot 42 and freshman Marni Murez also shot 42. Juniors Samantha Pulido and Chloe Weiss shot a 47 and 50 respectively.
“I thought we all did really well but could have easily done better,” Puilido said. “However, it was a new and unfamiliar course so we all made decisions we shouldn’t have. All in all it was a really good day,”
The team’s next match is on Tuesday, Oct. 9 away at R.V.C.G. Golf Course against Peninsula High School.
