The Mira Costa girls Junior Varsity Volleyball team defeated Laguna Beach 2 sets to 0 on October 3rd. They won their first set 25-5 and won their second 25-22.
Katrina Kernochan and Kyra Collins together had a total of 8 kills along with Izzy Hill who had a total of 2 kills and 3 blocks.
“I thought the girls did really well. The serving was superior and pushed us to the win” said coach Haley Lawson.
The Mira Costa girls Junior Varsity Volleyball team has their next game on Thursday, October 4th against West. Their next home game will be on October 9th against Peninsula at 4:15 pm.
